How to Use an Avocado On Your Skin

Did you know you can use avocado on your skin?

It’s actually pretty amazing as it contains vitamins A, E and even C, which all help your skin to feel nourished and ultimately, stronger.

To start using avocado as a treatment for your face, here is what you’ll need:

  • 1/2 peeled avocado
  • Couple tablespoons of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • and lemon juice (that’s if you have oily skin)

And here is how to complete the avocado beauty treatment:

  1. Wash your face/body. Do this with warm water so you can open up your pores.
  2. Prep the avocado. To do this, mash the avocado and mix it with both the honey and sugar.
  3. Apply gently to your face and body.  Smoothly rub the avocado mixture it into your skin. But make sure not to rub it too hard. After you have covered all the desired areas, leave on the mixture for at least 15 minutes.
  4.  Rinse off gently. And pat lightly with a towel!

That color green looks awfully beautiful on you! I love this because sometimes I can’t finish the whole avocado in one week, but you didn’t let it go to waste.

Finally found the comment box. Disqus remains a challenge. About the avocado, we mostly eat it here in the Philippines so I just might be tempted to lick it off my body. Sounds gross but I just can’t connect it to being a beauty product haha.

I have never thought about using this on my face, perhaps because my skin is so sensitive I am always cautious of trying new things, even if they are natural.

I know that this is super good for your skin but we eat them so fast in our house that I never get a chance to even try this! I am going to have to sneak one into the bathroom so I can actually try this for a change.
