What’s Wrong With Weddings These Days

These days, everyone is all about snapping and Instagram-ing every meal and every precious moment, especially during weddings.

But with that, many people forget to live in the moment and really soak up what’s going on around them.

Australian photographer Thomas Stewart posted a rant on Facebook that criticized wedding guests for taking pictures during the ceremony with their mobile devices.

The photo above, clearly shows a groom forced to lean to the side in order to see his bride going down the aisle. This seems truly awful!

In Thomas’s rant, he argues that every couple should enforce a “completely unplugged wedding ceremony” to allow guests to be truly present at the ceremony. Otherwise, the photographer’s shots can be totally ruined when all the guests are found using phones and tablets.

“YOU ARE WITNESSES TO THEIR MARRIAGE, SO FOR GOODNESS SAKE, WATCH THEM WITH YOUR EYES AND YOUR MINDS, NOT YOUR PHONES.
