Why did you start blogging? And what currently drives you to keep up with it?
I needed a creative outlet to unplug and express my devotion for fashion, beauty, health, and fitness. That is how Christine Marie, my personal blog, was developed.
I love creating images that ignite a passion and inspire others with similar interests. The positive feedback and the amazing support I receive through my readers and the blogging community has really encouraged me to keep pursuing my blog!
What would you consider your personal style to be and what influences your style?
I express my personality through my style. Some days it may be casual with pops of embellishment like jewelry, or a wide brim hat. Other days, it’s easy breezy and bohemian looks.
Are there any fashion labels you love?
What beauty products do you live by?
My sister is really into beauty products and always keeps me up to date on the latest must-haves for the season.
Currently, my favorites are IT Cosmetics Superhero mascara. It’s my secret weapon and gives me long, luscious lashes!
My morning routine consists of Origins GinZing to jump start my day. Fun fact, it’s formulated with coffee beans to wake up your eyes!
What bloggers do you follow and why?
I really admire so many bloggers because they each inspire me in different ways with their style!
Do you blog full time?
I am a retail fashion buyer full-time and I blog part-time.
I am new to blogging and still learning through this journey. I’ve learned so far that blogging is a lot of hard work and dedication, but being consistent and engaging with other bloggers has led me to build new friendships!
Who takes your photos?
I am fortunate to have a boyfriend that loves photography and has helped take my photos.
Also, when I am visiting my family, I have my lovely Dad and sister that offer to take my photos. I am very thankful for the love and support they give.
All of my product shots are taken by yours truly.
In the near future, I am excited to be partnering up with local photographers!
What is your favorite part about blogging? And what’s the worst part about it?
I am so thankful for my readers and for the blogging community. The women are so supportive and encouraging. I love connecting with beautiful, talented and inspiring bloggers through social media. I enjoy sharing tips and tricks together since we all are still learning through this ever-changing blogging world. I am also grateful for the opportunities to work with brands and form partnerships. I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with brands so quickly and to create beautiful content with them!
I would say my least favorite part about blogging is I am constantly on my phone! Every night, I disconnect and unwind and I don’t go on social media for a couple hours and spend quality time with my family and friends.
What do you love most about your blog?
It’s very rewarding to rediscover yourself. I love that I am able to find a new love of photography and gain a new perspective through the lens. Photography has led me to discover different cities and towns, and I am always on the hunt for the perfect background! I love to incorporate my love of writing, photography and my passions all onto my blog. I’m very proud of what I’ve created!
What piece of advice would you give to anyone starting their own blog?
Have fun with your blog!! Stay true to yourself and have patience. Continue to stay motivated and have self perseverance!
Have any fashion blog goals for 2017?
To continue to create motivating content that people can interact and connect with!
