Balenciaga announced the unification of its men’s and women’s collections.

What does that mean?

It means that going forward, the fashion house will show both collections on one runway.

You can expect the transition to take full effect during the FW18, to be presented at Paris Fashion Week in March.

Balenciaga plans to also introduce the men’s pre-collections starting in January 2018.

Balenciaga will be joining one of the many luxury brands under the Kering umbrella, to show their men’s and women’s ranges in unison.

Some of the brands that have been showing their collections in unison for months and even years are:

  • Kenzo
  • Burberry
  • and Calvin Klein
