  1. Chanel Files Ugly Suit Against What Goes Around Comes Around, Citing Fakes: Chanel is not a fan of What Goes Around Comes Around (“WGACA”) and it is not mincing words. According to a new lawsuit filed in a New York federal court on Wednesday, Chanel claims that not only has the bi-coastal vintage retailer “built its business by piggybacking on the reputation of a handful of select luxury brands – including Chanel,” it has been actively selling counterfeit goods and attempting “to deceive consumers into falsely believing [that it] has some kind of approval of or relationship or affiliation with Chanel or that Chanel has authenticated WGACA’s goods in order to trade off of Chanel’s brand and good will.” Read more on TFL

Empty Shoes Have Long Symbolized Death: On Tuesday the US Capitol became the site of a macabre scene — 7,000 empty pairs of shoes laid on the lawn to commemorate the children in this country killed by gun violence. But the sight, spurred by calls for gun law reform in the wake of the mass shooting last month at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, is not a first. People have long used empty shoes as symbols of death, and Greeks reportedly still view empty, overturned shoes as bad omens. Read more on Racked

Gal Gadot Rebook Be More Human Fitness Training Collection: After a successful debut at New York Fashion Week in collaboration with Pyer Moss, Reebok announced another exciting partnership on Thursday — this time with Gal Gadot. The actress and “Wonder Woman” star will front the global fitness lifestyle brand’s “Be More Human” campaign, featuring its women’s training collection.
