While Diesel may have intentionally misspelled their brand name for their latest campaign “Go With the Flaw”, it doesn’t seem that ASOS had the same campaign in mind.
The retailer that was voted as the most sought-after place to work in 2018 by LinkedIn, took it to Twitter on Wednesday, to confess their unintentional “limited edition” piece:
“Ok, so we *may* have printed 17,000 bags with a typo. We’re calling it a limited edition.”
After printing 17,000 plastic bags at least the retailer decided to be eco-friendly and still use the bag.
Instead of printing “ASOS discover fashion online”, the brand mistakenly wrote “onilne.”
After the tweet, it seemed that some ASOS shoppers were actually impressed by the retailers honesty and sense of humor.
One person tweeted:
“Better a limited edition than throwing it away!”
While another suggested that the “limited edition” misprinted bags might end up selling for major bucks:
“Watch ebay go mad with people selling them for £1000’s.”
