Hollister just teamed up with Snapchat and Bitmoji.
So Bitmoji app users can apply Hollister outfits to their “mini-me’s.”
With the new collaboration, app users will be able to choose from over 12 new outfits that include:
- and shoes
And of course, all the apparel can currently be found in actual Hollister stores.
Michael Scheiner, vice president of marketing, said:
“At Hollister, we aim to create emotional and engaging brand experiences where we know our customers are spending their time. For us, it is about discovery and we are interested in building a relationship with our customer; it’s not just about a transaction.”
In order to access the outfits, users will need to download the latest version of Bitmoji. The application can be found via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
When in the app, users should tap on the shirt icon, found in the upper right-hand corner, to view all outfits.
This isn’t the first time Hollister has partnered with Snapchat.
2016 – the brand became the first global retailer to launch a “sponsored lens.”
At the time, Snapchatters located in U.S. had the ability to upgrade their selfies with an animated Hollister-branded lens to communicate not only with the brand itself but also with each other via the Snapchat platform.
2015 – Hollister becomes the first global retailer to partner with the social media platform, to launch a sponsored geofilter.
A geofilter can be better understood as an image overlay that aimed at more than 19,000 high schools across the U.S. and Canada.
