For the past five years, Kerry Washington has not only served as the brand’s face but has also helped Neutrogena expand its foundation colour range to include options for more skin tones.
With that, Washington officially launched two new Neutrogena palettes yesterday exclusively at Ulta.com.
Both products, the Essential Eye and Cheek Palette include neutral shades.
The cheek palette shades include:
- a matte bronze called Grateful
- a coral blush called Captivating
- and a cream-colored highlighter called Elegant
All three shades are meant to not only enhance your skin but also provide a dewy glow.
In terms of the new eye palette, it includes five shades that were created to include a built-in primer to allow eye makeup to stay smudge-free for up to 12 hours.
The eye palette shades include:
- a champagne shadow
- and four shades of brown that range from taupe to chocolate
In an interview with People, Washington says that she wanted to create palettes with shades that every woman would be able to use and notes:
“I have been playing with the colors for a long time and I’m really proud of them because you do have just what you need. It speaks to the name Essential, for sure.”
Carolina Gonzalez, Washington’s makeup artist, has also played around with the palettes and used both of them to create Washington’s makeup look for this year’s Vanity Fair Oscars Party.
Both palettes feature Washington’s signature and are available online now at ulta.com, and will become available in Ulta store locations starting April 22.
