Addicted to Sephora?
Well, the latest news from Sephora is that they are in the works of creating a series of new concept stores, called Sephora Studios.
And guess what…you can expect these stores to open across the country!
Calvin McDonald, CEO of Sephora Americas said:
“The Studio merges the best of an inclusive neighborhood retail environment with best-in-class digital tools that enable our expert beauty advisors to customize recommendations on an individual basis. There is no better way to create meaningful connections with clients than through personalized experiences and a customized approach to beauty.”
Sephora studios is expected to be less than half the size of a typical Sephora store, roughly around 2,000 square feet and will be located outside of malls in stand-alone stores.
While the retailer has yet to announced all of the new locations of Sephora Studios, the first one is already open on Boston’s boutique-lined Newbury Street.
Neil Saunders, Sephora’s GlobalData Retail managing director, told CNBC:
“Smaller stores give Sephora an opportunity to reach new neighborhoods and potentially new audiences.”
And if that wasn’t enough, Sephora Studio stores will offer a ton of new customized experiences to make shopping IRL worth it.
You can expect:
- same-day pickup for online purchases
- exclusive digital tools like the Moisture Meter and Skincare IQ quiz
- on-demand one-on-one services which include: 15-minute mini facials, 45-minute makeovers and a 75-minute “Custom Makeover Plus”
