Timberland just rolled out their specialty concept store: The Timberland Tree Lab.
You can find the new store at the King of Prussia mall in Pennsylvania.
The experiential ‘Tree Lab’ features curated product collections and brand stories in a gallery-style setting that will alternate every six weeks.
According to the press release, “the Tree Lab debuts with the theme Streetology — where versatile style for city streets meets hidden technology that’s been tested and proven for long days (and nights) in the city.”
The release also notes:
“Highlighting the Streetology launch will be the new men’s FlyRoam™ collection featuring the AeroCore™ energy system, as well as several new styles featuring SensorFlex™ comfort technology.”
Upon entering the Tree Lab, you can expect to see a very sleek and angular design, combined with minimalist product displays.
You’ll also find creative pieces, like an oversized, Timberland-style periodic table, which is actually meant to reinforce the science of comfort behind the new technologies they are providing.
And if you have a love for beer, you can also sample a local craft beer from Tröegs Independent Brewing (ages 21+).
And if isn’t your thing, you can simply enjoy a bottle of water that may one day be recycled into Timberland linings or shoelaces. 🙂
Kate Kibler, vice president of Timberland’s direct to consumer business in North America says:
“The Tree Lab is more than just a place to shop — everything a consumer experiences from the moment they enter has been designed to enhance their visit, expand their horizons, and leave them with a great memory to go along with that beautiful new pair of shoes.”
And ladies, not to worry.
In late September Tree Lab will transform into SHEvolution, making the entire store will be dedicated to women.
